Nestled in the small town of Unadilla, New York, Greens Greenery is a family-owned dispensary on a mission to bring accessible, high-quality cannabis to its local community.

Founded and operated by a multigenerational team with deep roots in the area—including veterans and individuals previously impacted by prohibition—Greens Greenery is unapologetically independent, proudly woman- and family-owned, and deeply committed to doing things the right way.

“We're just going to keep doing good by everybody. As long as we do that, and keep caring about everybody, I think we’ll keep being a success," Travis said.

Scaling community cannabis online

At its core, Greens Greenery is a people-first operation. From the open-floor layout and welcoming lounge to the hands-on budtender training and “weed dealer” energy, everything about the shop is designed to feel personal.

So when the team began thinking about expanding digitally, they wanted a solution that would extend the same great in-store experience to the online world.

That solution was Flowhub Ecommerce.

Greens Greenery has seen 3% monthly sales growth since launching Flowhub Ecommerce, with online orders now accounting for 9% of total revenue in less than 4 months.

"We knew we had to do online sales, and it just fell in our laps,” recalls Travis. “Flowhub comes back to us and says, ‘Well, we are currently making an ecommerce. Would you like to beta test it for us?’ And we said, ‘Bet’. It’s been so easy to use."

“I use Ecommerce a lot. I’m literally the one that’s in it every single day. We’ve grown about 3% each month in ecommerce sales. I can see that growth continuing."

Amy adds an example, “I did a 420 specials carousel and put the product in there. Now we can tag the product that we want for that specific carousel. Whatever it’s looking like online, I want that to look the same in the store."

That cohesion is paying off. In just four months, pickup orders have grown to 9% of total sales, and those purchases are coming in with higher cart sizes.

"Flowhub made sure ecommerce was seamless on our website, just as much as it is in the store. We actually have a bigger cart total purchase on the online orders."

Customers also love the convenience. “I’ve had a lot of people come in and be like, ‘I placed an online order,’ and they’ll just show us their phone. It’s right there. It’s so much easier,” says Amy.

"About 50% of customers who order online end up adding more when they get here. Sometimes that means another pre-roll… sometimes a $350 ounce," adds Brendan.

Ecommerce made easy

Before launching with Flowhub, Greens Greenery explored other ecommerce options, but found most platforms either overpriced, overcomplicated, or inflexible.

“I’m pretty much on the View app every single day, 15 times a day, looking at the analytics. It helps me know what’s selling, what taxes look like, what items are selling from what companies, and things that sell better on order ahead.”

Brendan agrees, “I use it to see what has sold that week. It makes it easier for me to go through placing new orders and see which one of my budtenders was selling more.”

“I want to be the largest marijuana dispensary in all of New York State. I’m hoping that Flowhub is right there along with me the whole ride,” said Travis.
