Switching point-of-sale systems across multiple dispensary locations is no small feat. For Sunburn, the rollout of Flowhub was accelerated—and it still went off without a hitch.

“As far as the initial implementation and rollout of Flowhub. Honestly, we moved it up a bit earlier than we intended to. The whole team met down in our Orlando location. All hands were on deck,” says Drew. “We all learned it together and launched it all at once. Flowhub was with us every step of the way.”

“Auditing was my worst nightmare. Doing a full inventory count took hours,” recalls Brian. “There were so many redundancies and so many processes, like exporting the file to importing it.” Counts and reconciliations were never right, leading to time-consuming troubleshooting and cross-referencing.

With Flowhub, that changed dramatically. “We eliminate a lot of that,” he explains.

“Everything is digital. The reporting is easy. We’re not cycling through different programs. Flowhub handles the compliance aspect perfectly."

Brian outlines the hybrid approach: “We have a kiosk, and we also have online ordering. If you come in with a kiosk order, we help you build an order and help you build a profile. If you come in with a pickup, we don’t stop there, we find out why you ordered what you got. What can we add on?”

“Everyone can order at their own pace,” says Drew. “There’s no pressure. You're not waiting on someone tapping their foot behind you while you're still looking at the menu.” What used to be a manual queue process is now integrated.

This allows speed and service to go hand-in-hand.

“Average transaction time was a major roadblock with our previous POS. There was a 5 to 10 second delay to check with the state… and that would add up to transactions taking minutes longer than it should have. With Flowhub, it's been super smooth, no issues at all.”

Mary confirms the impact on front-line operations: “I can get somebody in and out if everything goes perfectly in less than five minutes.” Sunny especially loves the integrated purchase limits that don’t allow you to sell over a patient’s state-specific limit. “The allotment is a big thing for me. I really like how the Flowhub tells you how much the patient has,” he says.
